
PhD Student Md Abu Jafar Sujan presented findings from the BEFORE THE BEGINNING study at the International Diabetes Forum Congress 2025.
PhD candidate Md Abu Jafar Sujan recently presented an e-poster titled: "Preconception lifestyle intervention in individuals at risk of gestational diabetes: Pregnancy and neonatal outcomes" at the International Diabetes Forum Congress 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The congress took place from 7-10th April 2025, bringing together over 6,000 healthcare professionals, researchers and advocates from more than 160 countries and territories, dedicated to shaping the future of diabetes. The scientific programme was diverse and comprehensive, featuring ten key streams:

- Classification and Differential Management of Diabetes (CDM)
- Technology and Artificial Intelligence (TAI)
- Diabetes Complications (DC)
- Type 1 Diabetes (T1D)
- Public Health and Policy (PHP)

- Living with Diabetes (LWD)
The congress provided an excellent platform for Jafar to share insights, learn about new research topics, forge new connections, and explore opportunities for international collaboration.
